What is a request and how to add one
If you didn’t find the product or service you need in the catalog, you can create a request — this is a public post where you describe exactly what you want to purchase. All suppliers on the platform will be able to see your request and offer their options.
What is a request
A request is a form of demand. You specify what you’re looking for, and suppliers respond with offers. This is especially useful if:
- the suitable product isn’t in the catalog yet
- you want to receive commercial offers from multiple suppliers
- you need individual terms — volumes, price, delivery region, timelines, etc.
How to add a request
You can add a request in two ways:
- By clicking «Looking for a product or service» on the main page

- Or via the Want to Buy → Add request section in your dashboard
After clicking, a form will open where you need to specify:
- Your name — how to address you
- Phone number (with country code) — used for contact and, if you’re not signed in, it will automatically create an account for you
- Product or service name — a brief description of what you need (e.g., Full-suspension mountain bike)
- Description — clarify your need: volumes, technical parameters, region, desired price, timelines, and terms
- Posting period — choose how long the request will remain active (e.g., 6 months)
Click «Submit» to send the request for moderation.
What to write in the request description
A well-written description helps suppliers quickly understand your need and offer relevant terms. Consider the following:
- Specify product/service characteristics (dimensions, composition, functionality, etc.)
- Indicate the expected purchase volume
- Describe the delivery region or service location
- If needed — expected price, timelines, payment terms
- Avoid generic wording and try to be specific
Use lists, break text into logical blocks, and avoid duplicating information.
Sign-in and auto-fill
If you are signed in, the «Name» and «Phone» fields are auto-filled from your profile. You can edit them before submitting.
If you are not signed in:
- The system will automatically create an account for you based on the phone number provided
- You will be assigned a temporary password
- After posting, you will see a window with the login and password, as well as a link to your dashboard where you can set a new password and complete your profile
After submission
- Your request will appear on the site after moderation. It will be reviewed by an administrator and, if approved, will receive the "Published" status — this means it’s now visible to suppliers.
- Responses from sellers will be shown in the "My requests" section, where you can:
- view offers;
- exchange messages with suppliers;
- edit or delete the request if needed (until you receive the first response);
- extend the request’s validity using the "Extend" button (the button becomes available after the request is published).
- The request will remain active for the period you set (e.g., 6 months). After the validity period ends, the "Extend" button becomes unavailable and the request loses its active status.
